SUPPORT GROUPS

NAMI affiliates around the state are conducting their peer‐led adult support groups online using the video conferencing platform Zoom. These groups are accessible from both mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones & from desktop and laptop computers. Joining with audio only is possible from any phone.

To register for a group meeting, download either the Zoom app (on mobile devices) or  desktop client (on computers) and either click the registration link of the meeting you are interested in below or contact the local NAMI affiliate  offering the group for instructions. Once you register you will receive an email with instructions for joining the meeting.

CONNECTION PEER SUPPORT GROUP

NAMI Connection Support Group is a free 90-minute recovery support group for all persons living with a mental illness regardless of their diagnosis. Support groups are facilitated by trained volunteers with lived experience.

SUICIDE BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT

Suicide Bereavement Support, Inc., is a
self-help organization served by trained volunteers offering understanding, support, friendship and education to those bereaved and impacted by the suicide death of a child, spouse, partner, parent, sibling, family member, friend, client or co-worker.

NOTE: The Suicide Bereavement Group is not an official NAMI program but has been vetted and is hosted by NAMI Clackamas.

FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP

NAMI Family Support Group is a free 90-minute support group open to anyone who has, or cares about someone with a mental health condition. Support groups are facilitated by trained volunteers with lived experience.

OPEN MINDS ART STUDIO

A non-traditional support group for people to express themselves through creative art in a relaxed social setting.  Persons living with a mental illness as well as family members and friends are welcome. Meets weekly online. BASIC SUPPLIES PROVIDED FREE!
