Volunteer Spotlight: Catherine Spencer Mills
Tis the season to be thankful and at NAMI Clackamas we are very thankful for Catherine Spencer-Mills. Catherine has volunteered hundreds of hours to the technical support, maintenance, and upkeep of all things IT.
We are so thankful for each of our volunteers and understand that our programs and office would not function without the efforts of each of our volunteers.
I caught up with Catherine to find out a little more about the volunteer behind the scenes. Catherine holds a degree in engineering and among her varying interests and talents she has dedicated a year and a half of her time to NAMI Clackamas because she believes in the NAMI mission: to educate, advocate, listen and lead.
It’s the holiday season and in the same spirit I asked Catherine how she and her family will be celebrating this year, “well my children are all grown and family is scattered but we will be decorating this year, and share a nice meal.” Our super volunteer also celebrates the holiday season with birthday cake.
